You and I both know that milk could cure cancer and PETA would still be against it because it's uncomfortable for the cow to get it.

I don't care much about PETA. I think they're wackos. I'm just curious about fredtam's reasons for agreeing with them.

I realize that the value of milk is probably minimal (the whole lactose thing is a bitch), but I love drinking it.

Many health poblems can be attributed to milk. Not the least of which is even the 2% is fattening as hell. As you know I'm not the biigest advocate of animal (food) rights but the treatment of cows so you can have some milk with your :cookie: is just sad. Now if you want to shoot it to have a porterhouse I'll bring the beer and charchoal.

I've gotten so used to skim even 1% tastes like cream to me. Only exception is coffee, I use half & half for that (rather have it black than with skim milk).

If people want to do stupid things, like drink milk, let them.
 
I used to be a 2% kind of guy, and now I am drinking 1%. However at times I can not find the 1% so I will get 2%. I have never liked whole milk much, just way too heavy for my tastes and skim milk just plain lacks. I go thru close to 2 gallons by myself a week. Maybe more like a gallon and half, all depends.
