And she kept on telling me
She kept on telling me
She kep on telling me
I want you
I need you
But there ain't no way
I'm ever gonna love you
Now don't be sad
'Cause two out of three ain't bad
Don't be sad
'Cause two out of three ain't bad

Baby we can talk all night
But that ain't getting us nowhere

I like to keep it simple with the meatloaf sammich:

Meatloaf
Mayo
American cheese
Whitebread

I think it's the only type of sandwich I'll buy whitebread for.

just try it once....the toasting makes it great. the mustard takes it to that whole "nutter level"

Although nothing is more satisfying than a meatloaf sammich.

If you are daring you'll slab some mashed taters on that sammich and melt (read toast) the cheese over the taters and the meatloaf.

geez - sorry guys, meatloaf is my ambrozia.

I like my mexican meatloaf:

1 pound lean ground chuck
1 pound ground pork
1 egg
1 cup crushed tortillas
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
8oz of salsa of choice
1 small can of salsa verde
1 taco seasoning packet

Mush it together, make a loaf out of it, cook it at 350 for 45 minutes, take it out and dump some more salsa over the top, garnish with sliced jalapenos and cook it for another 15 minutes.

Good stuff.

Another meatloaf I do is the "Hidden Surprise" meatloaf.

It's got mashed taters actually wrapped up inside of the meatloaf. I usually put chopped spinach in there too...but that's an aquired thing for some people.

sounds wonderful. gotta have the addition of pork to a good meatloaf.

thanks for the recipe. Maybe add some fine chopped green bell peppers to that and garlic?

I'm keen on topping the loaf with ketchup or cambells tomato soup.

screw all our steak threads....we need a kick butt meatloaf recipie!!!

Sometimes I'll take ketchup, some Jack Daniels "Southwest" mustard, a bit of tangy BBQ sauce and some hot sriracha sauce and smother it on the top. Makes for really zesty topping.

But usually I'm just lazy and dump some salsa over the top.

I use meatball mix...beef/pork/veal. And I glaze it with a 50/50 mix of bbq sauce and tomato sauce. Good stuff.

Another vote for Yay...

and another Yay vote for cold, in a sandwhich with mayo.

I've never tried it toasted with cheese...I'll have to try that next time.
