Personally, I find McDonalds Coke to be just about perfect. I love it with the more watered down taste. Coke's Coke is just a little too sweet.

McDonald's fountain drinks taste like chlorinated water - especially the Sprite. Any fountain drink is going to taste much worse, especially ones from McDonald's...

It depends on the store no? They have a coke syrup that is mixed with seltzer water and that's why the taste varies from place to place?

All the McDonald's around me have great fountain drinks, they are all owned by the same guy. I've been to some in other places that weren't as good though.

Coke Coke. In theory all the fountains should be the same since they are maintained by Coke employees... But I'm sure theres differences between regions and some general laziness by employees to make sure the flow ratio is correct causes difference in taste.

Pepsi tastes sweeter than Coke to me. I prefer Coke, and I find restaurant pop fountains to be worse than what you'd buy in a store.

I tell my friends this all the time, they can't seem to taste the difference.

McDonald's coke tastes much different, even then other coke out of the fountain - most just can't taste the subtlety. Of course I can taste the difference between coke in a can, coke in a glass bottle, coke in a plastic bottle, and coke in the fountain - same with any other pop or any beer or anything else. And yes I agree, McDonalds coke is the best.
