I use to work as an MSN sysop, we had thousands and thousands of bad words banned, there were over 50 for the word admin alone, it never really stopped many people from swearing, there are just so many variations and ways to get the point across that it isn't feasible. It would likely cause more problems then it would solve

Just to be contrary, I'd suppose that you all were / are more mature than to try to make every post a contest to see how many times you can squeeze in a "fvck" in each sentence without horribly breaking the grammar. Then again, I wasn't there, so you can rightfully accuse me of speaking on matters of which I have no understanding...
To be perfectly honest we were pretty brutal back then. Just ask some of the WMC's;)

WTF is a WMC?
Wounded Monitor Children.
You had to be there.

Were you even there?

Yes. Some people actually lurk. They don't feel a need to shoot their mouth off at every possible occasion.
You know, like the old saying: "It's better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt".

I didn't post much back then either jerkass.

I thought my argument would win on it's own merits. But thanks for proving it for me.

Now back to the topic on hand.

"Masked vulgarity, should it be allowed?"
No.

You didn't prove anything at all, except that you have an unheathly problem with anything I say. You didn't post back then, and I certainly don't remember anyone like you lurking in the days of the UBB. It is your knee jerk defensive response that makes YOU look like the fool. What "merits" did your argument have? Your blatant sucking up to the mods?

Take your Meds Millenium, you are getting carried away
