I indulge in both, and I would probably pick alcohol for now, because alcohol = DWB's in University!!

About the memory loss, I'm finding that I lose my memory after drinking a lot now, even after a relatively casual night. It used to never happen, until I got really drunk (puke, passing out, etc.). Now i can lose memory , even when friend's tell me that I was fine all night, just buzzed, etc. Is this normal?

Oh yeah, and taking a bong hit before going to bed gives you the best sleep ever.

I had to vote B&B. Once addicted and recovering, B&B does not cause physical harm.

I personally think alcohol is a much more "social" drug. I've never been to a really kick'n "marijuna" party. Generally it is at most 10 people sitting around watching really horrible television. I'll stick with alcohol.

I'll take the booze. Most studies say in moderation it won't hurt your body much, if at all. I have a hard time believing the same about smoking pot - no filter, eww!

But is that really better? It's still doing the same thing - just a different way.

Isn't a varporizor supposed to avoid all the resin getting in your lungs? It doesn't burn everything, it simply vaporizes the THC, thus avoiding a lot of the harmful biproducts that get left behind.

When you look at a bowl or bong after a couple months of use, it is pretty nasty to think that stuff is in your lungs too... Though nice to roll up with some weed in a blunt after you scrape it :D

Someone posted how a vaporizer works a few posts back. Theres a study on them showing how much safer they are to smoking here.

Yeah, people have posted about the vaporizer which is supposed to be much healthier. In a water pipe, the water acts as a filter and removes some of the harmful materials, and cools the smoke as well. Honestly you'd probably get health benefits from both of them in moderation. A glass or two of wine or beer or two, and then a little herbal refreshment.

I actually enjoy the taste of booze, (some)

I love whiskey and beer

one of my favorite activities is trying new alcohols, so it wins hands down

is there a hangover from THC?

The worst you'll feel from waking up after smoking is a little thirsty, there's no such thing as a weed hangover. I smoked the night before I had my wisdom teeth out and it couldn't have went bettttter (I was snoring during surgery), I think drinking may have had a different effect.

There is a hangover from D9THC if it's consumed. The body processes it much differently when it's eaten. The hangover from it isn't bad or anything. No headaches, more of a slight sloshy feeling, like your body feels more liquid-like than it is.

From what I understand the "hangover" from eating weed is that one wakes up still high. It's also possible to wake up high from a long hard night of smoking.
