George Washington fought his own wars. He was a real man. He was a real President.

You need to do some reading, specifically about the French and Indian War as it relates to Washington. It might make you aware of why Washington isn't considered up there with the likes of Hannibal, Clausewitz, or Rommel.

He was a 'real man' of the time, granted, but as a slave owner, sexist, racist, and borderline war criminal it should give you pause when trying to contrast his 'manliness' with the current president.

I wonder what Washington would have thought about a deserter being selected as Commander in Chief, or about those that put him there being able to vouch for what a "real president" is. I bet that'd be interesting.

Hey, let's not forget all of those profiteers who stand to rake in some serious coinage the minute we send in our hard charging legislators into the fray.

Think about it fer a minute: Our warrior legislators will need hair stylists, manicurists, custom tailored uniforms, decent connoisseur chow, butlers and maids to absorb incoming munitions, their legislative staffs that would liason with the military commander's staff and all the support logisitcs/personnel to support them.

So some folks are going to get rich/richer from that and they need to be right up front with our elected fighters as they sacrifice their frequent vacations and corporate sponsored fact finding tours for God and Country.

I'll wager a ten spot that soon after our fight'in pols lock horns with Assad's troops those troops will be thoroughly corrupted, disarmed and promised a car in every garage and a 60 inch LED flat panel in every living room....with a monthly welfare check to boot.
