I am looking to get rid of my puny 14" wheels and going up to 15"s 😉.

Sorry I only have one picture of wheel1, the best I can do. I have more pictures of them on other cars, but it doesn't help any 😉.

What do you think? With wheel1, they're available in 15 or 17 inches... I would rather get the 15s because 17s are too big on the Miata. With wheel2... i'm going to have a tough time deciding between 15s or 16s.

If you have any other suggestions for wheels, feel free to post.

I thought they looked nice! I personally feel the Heliums looks better than the Circuit 8s.

If I did get the Circuit 10s, I'm going to have a hard time deciding between 15s and 16s... hrm.

Those Konigs are 102 a piece... pretty cheap actually. Depending on the tire, I can get the Circuit 10s for less, or a even a bit more than the Heliums. With both 15", the price difference is small. The Circuit 10s in 16" would be about $150 more.

As far as looks, I'm afraid the 16" wheel will look too big for the car, the Miata is a tiny car. The pictures I showed above are both 15" rims.

There are a slightly wider variety of tire in the 15" size, as well as being a tad bit lighter. I'm not sure how much the 16" Circuit 10 weighs, but the 15" is 13.2 lbs, and the Heliums are 11.4lbs. My stock Miata rim which is 14", wieghs 11.8lbs. IMO, the different weight between each of the 15"s aren't that big of a deal, but I need to figure out the weight of the 16"s first.

Here is my biggest concern. I am deathly afraid of too much unsprung weight... it will kill the handling and sportiness of the car. Granted the newer Miatas have even larger wheels on them from the factory, they do have a bit more power. My car accelerates slow enough already! 😛

EDIT: 16" Circuit 10s are 17lbs... hrm...
 
Rotas do tend to be pretty light. I know 16 sounds big but my buddy has a Pulsar (which came stock with 13's) and it looks good on 16's. He's got it dropped with some GC coilovers.
