That. Liquid soap things are less messy for the kids handwashing that bars of soap welding themselves to things.
Bar soap for the shower. As long as it's not that weird stuff with twigs or bits of gravel in. Seriously make it smell nice but leave all the detritus out!
 
we used to have this stinky whitish soft soap at the garage I used to work at and that stuff cleaned like crazy mad. Ground in grease and grime would just vanish after using it. The downside was it let everyone know you worked in a garage fixing cars because it's odour lingered on you.

I keep this in my garage to clean my hands after working on our cars. It is strong smelling as well, but it cuts through the oil, grease, and grime better than just about anything.

I agree it's a pretty dumb thing to watch, but I would rather watch a 7 minute soap video than Buildzoid rambling about a motherboard's VRM for 30 minutes. 😵 😀
 
Most of the time, bar, but I use liquid for laundry and occasionally as a prewash treatment for stains.

Bar: Ivory Soap

Liquid: Dawn
 
I've gone back to bar soap in the shower because liquid stuff is full of teeny plastics and all sorts of other shit, and bar soap is pauper cheap.
