looking to spend my starwwod starpoints on getting a decent hotel room in NYC and catch a broadway show + some nice dinner. so which is better? we saw Chicago and Blue Man Group already. I saw Stomp a while back (4 or 5 years) and loved it. Would like to take her to see that, but I guess thats not romantic enuff. so which Boradway Show? vote NOW!

PS. any other suggestions?

Lion King is an excellent show, but geared more towards families.

How about the Producers?

thanks ronnie. starwood hotels are pimp money too. my 4500 starpoints wont cover for a free night. so im still gonna have to pay sh!tloads

LK was good but I thought Phantom was much better.

BatB was meh. I actually saw it twice (don't ask) and wasn't that impressed.

I haven't seen it. It's a musical comedy, and it's supposed to be pretty good (won a boatload of awards).

I saw Beauty and the Beast in Atlanta (Broadway Tour) and my fiance and I both liked it a lot

I've seen The Producers and Mama Mia so far this year and enjoyed both, though I liked The Producers a little more. If I had to choose a show to see today I'd probably go for Avenue Q, The Boy From Oz (might as well see it while Hugh's still in it), or Wicked. I'm sure you'll enjoy either show. Have fun!

they're both pretty awful musicals.

I'd recomend Wicked. I saw it when it first opened and it was great... going to see it again with some friends in a few weeks.

Lion King was friggin awesome! I haven't seen Beauty and the Beast, but I can't imagine it to be better than Lion King. The costumes were crazy awesome :)
