Poll: Linux Web Server

I have a computer with Redhat 6.2 standard edition freshly installed. I want to be able to share files with my other computers. All my other computers are window 98 machines. I have my network setup in a domain, and the IP addresses managed automatically. What do I need to share Linux and Windows? Detailed instructions would be helpful

And, pretty soon, I'm going to have the Linux box be my web server. Is that a good idea?

Since detailed instructions exist - I will just say that Samba is the application you would need to allow file and print sharing from Linux and Microsoft whatever (and vice versa). As long as your linux machine can handle the Web Sever ie - enough memory and processor speed - I would say that it does not matter if you run the web server (apache) on the same machine.

Try www.samba.org for samba -> and www.freshmeat.net for Samba related apps (like a GUI front end)

I got apache on my Linux box! Works great as an ftp server.
