Let it be is classic ballad... it's a damn fine song and ANYBODY can sing it and have fun with it.

Imagine is a bit to heady.

It's Paul verse John. Paul is way more likable, (though personally I relate to John more).

Yep, that's about it. The entire premise of the song is as flawed as the concept of communism is. To obtain it, all freedoms would have to be removed.
