Poll: Lego vs Legos

I say it's called lego. I play with lego. I had lego when I was a kid.

If you have 4 bricks in your hand you say: "Check out this lego," or "I have 4 lego blocks."

Saying I played with legos just sounds wrong.

Voted wrong, I didn't notice the S. Subtract one from Lego, add one to Legos.

Agreed. It's not like 'sheep' where there is some ancient convention. Legos sounds fine, and makes sense.

For legos, it's plural.

Adding (s/) is the rule to make it plural, so unless lego is special like sheep it's "legos."

Beer is a liquid which comes in discrete portions. 1 beer, 2 beers etc.

I enjoy drinking beer. I enjoy playing with lego.

Lego is the brand name for the toy, not the name of the individual bricks.

I also can't find a single instance of Legos with an s anywhere on the lego website.
