I don't pay my electric bill, so I leave it on 24/7 Win 98 used to have to be rebooted at least once a day. I run SETI too, so I want to have it going often. Win 2K not nearly as often, but I always reboot before I burn a CD though. I think I have a memory leaks somewhere. Cuz after a few days it will slow down and have less RAM available.

late.

I'm like lepper boy, it's hard to sleep when it's perfectly quiet. It drives me nuts, I'm too used to the sound of my fans. 😉

I think I shut mine off once... can't remember though, ah yes it was when I was moving to a new house. If I had more then a 450 UPS I'd have left it on 🙂

Ah yes mine stays on 24/7/365

Great for crack and even when Im gone, other people in the household use it.

Plus im in an appartment building where they pay for the gas and eletric 😛

When you have 3 Case fans and a loud ass FOP32 it's kinda hard to sleep at night with it on, otherwise it would be on all the time.

3 sys, 24/7 and I swap out cdrom drives with them on.. except the server which doesn't have a cdrom, but there I hot swap the network cards, freesco is so resilient.
One system doesn't even have an on off swith.. any where.
