Pretty self explanitory.... I just noticed tonight while rummaging through Wal-Mart that they have a HUGE section for Tide, and very little for the others. I was wondering what detergent do you all use??

Post your answers below along with why.

P.S. - If i fergot any, lemme know

EDIT: Added All

I use Cheer, not for any reason other than that it works, and it's what I know works. I think they're all the same, really (like antifreeze, they're probably all made in one or two factories, then re-branded). My only thing is that I use the "free" version, with no dyes or perfumes.

I use "Sun".. Its the cheapest stuff in grocery store. I don't really see the difference so why pay more? Guys usually don't give a damn about this kind of stuff anyway.

$3 for a gallon jug or sometimes two for $5.. can't beat that with anything else and it does the job(at least I think so)

the cool thing is its available in "no dye no perfume" formula as well as regular and "color safe" bleach.

powdered tide because the smell is awesome. my parents use liquid tide, but i use the powdered because it smells better. if it works better than the rest, more power to it. i buy because of the smell!

i think you need to add a radio button to vote for "whatever is cheapest" that is how i determine what brand i am going to buy. i always use liquid though...what my mom always used to use.

Kirkland Signature from Costco. Cheap as heck and doesn't smell too bad, but still not as good as Tide.

Tide here. After trying to go cheap for a few loads you can see the grayness in the whites along with the dim colors. Tide is the most popular because the whites really are white and colors are vibrant. No, I don't have stock, just know what really works.
