Whatever is the cheapest at the Dollar Generall that week. I think rightnow I am using Surf.

It seems to get most of the skidmarks out

I have pretty bad allergies to detergent. I have found that Surf is a pretty good detergent and smells good too. My bf uses All and it is nice b/c it doesn't have a strong scent.

<< Liquid Tide, years and years ago, swept a Consumer Reports test. Seems that everyone uses it these days, myself included. >>

Last year Consumer Reports redid the tests. It said the powdered Tide With Bleach ran circles around the other detergents - best at getting out dirt and stains as well as not redepositing the dirt on the other clothes. It even runs circles around the liquid Tide (as long as you give the detergent enough time to dissolve - a 1 min wash just isn't possible with powders.) Plus the Tide powder is one of the cheapest.

So I buy the powdered Tide with bleach. Why pay more for something that cleans worse?

Tide makes me itchy:( I tend to use cheer the most because it seams to preserve bright colors better than some other choices.
