Last year Consumer Reports redid the tests. It said the powdered Tide With Bleach ran circles around the other detergents - best at getting out dirt and stains as well as not redepositing the dirt on the other clothes. It even runs circles around the liquid Tide (as long as you give the detergent enough time to dissolve - a 1 min wash just isn't possible with powders.) Plus the Tide powder is one of the cheapest.
So I buy the powdered Tide with bleach. Why pay more for something that cleans worse?
