I think they were all a little weak tonight maybe they were nervous). But I think it'll be down to Vos & Dat. (I'm rooting for Vos)

Corey was ON tonight, but I haven't really cared for anything she's done up to this point, so I vote for Rich (my favorite after Dave was eliminated).

IMO, the only real funny people were Ralphie and Rich. Cory had some good parts and Tess had a few good jokes, but Dat Phan was not funny at all.

I voted for Rich, although, I think Ralphie will win.

Voss - Funny and original every time like Dave was
Ralph - In the hood gets old quick and he just used cheap audience manipulation last night. Still he is funny.
Tess or Corie - Interchangible for 3 and 4
Last -Dat Phan- good performer and Funny but his material gets old real fast.

I thought Corey had The best overall set. Rich vos was alright, but he shouldnt even be on the show...No comic that is on Colling Quinn's show twice a week deserves to be in this talent search contest. Ralphie was funny, but got repetative fast. It seemed like he did almost a bad version of a george Carlin routine. Dat and Tess didnt do anything for me

I agree.

Corey - surprisingly good last night, but probably used all her material.

Dat - if I wanted to hear the "asian mom" routine, I'd listen to Margaret Cho.

Vos - I expected a better routine since he is typically very funny (as noted earlier he's on Colin QUinn's show alot and he is phenomenal).

Ralphie - Funny, but he hammered that gas/oil joke into the ground untill it got boring.

Tess - The g-string joke was funny, but it all seemed like typical overweight girl jokes. She does have a good comfort level on camera and will probably make a great talk show host one day.

I agree. Even though Dat uses his mom for a lot of his jokes, he is still funnier than her.

Rich is good, but he wasn't funny toward the end of his set.

I miss Ralphie's set, so I can't tell you what I thought of him.

Unless Tess has more variety in her act, I'm giving her the thumbs down.

How is Dat Phan winning?

Did you people watch the entire episode (or any other episodes he performed on)? The guy is a one trick pony! It's polls like this that scare me... Dat can win if he gets a bunch of people who have never seen his act before. He's funny the first time you see him, then you wonder how he built a career around making fun of his mom.


Ralphie was good. He's constantly showing fresh material (with the exception of the fat jokes).
Rich was better than I remembered from the early episodes.
Cory was strong.
Tess got me laughing harder than any other performer with the backwards thong sequence.
Dat sucked. I still can't believe he beat Dave.

Dat Phan's jokes really are lame. His whole bit always has the vietnamese accent thing. I thought it was funny the first couple times, but he really killed it. I really don't care who wins.

The problem with Dat is this is the third time we've seen him and he's going to have to recycle material eventually. We've seen Ralphie once before also, but the other 3 comics are fresh to us since we haven't seen them perform before (other than the tryouts before they moved in the house). On Dat, on his first challenge we saw mom jokes, but his second challenge had no mom jokes at all and I thought he was pretty good that time proving he's not all mom jokes. Last night he was about 50-50.

Personally, I thought Ralphie sucked. He had about 2 funny jokes which he managed to stretch out to 5 minutes. Tess was horrible and annoying. The other 3 were equally mediocre. If I were to vote, it would be for Dat probably, because in general I like him the most and nobody was really very funny last night.

I wished Tess didnt give me images in mind of a big girl strip bar and images of fat person somehow putting a thong on backwards.

From what I understand, It's one winner picked from the remaining 5. But I would assume there has to be some "runner-up" stuff happening since they have a 2 hour show next week. This show seems to be good a little last minute suprises.
