Not sure yet. I have a KG7 and I have only done the 5th L3. This is not enough to get these puppies to go on the KG, so I need to hard wire a multiplier into my JIUHB. Not got around to it yet tho.

When that is done I'll know for sure, but a mate of mine has toasted his 1700+ by cutting too deep, so I voted for that.

I tried shorting the bridge with a 9V connected to a couple needles. Didn't help.
Then, I tried 18V. Didn't work.
Finally gave up and broke out the Xacto.
That worked.

Can somebody link me to exactly how to do the bridge/multiplier trick so that I can manually set my multi to be 12, 13.14, or 15 (my mATX NForce2 mobo doesn't have multi in the bios)? I'd really appreciate it!

I've tried that, and it works.

For those that don't, know, on TBBs there are fine lines just below the surface of the plastic which connect the visible dots on the surface. The depth you need to cut is about like a sheet of paper. The problem you have is: how sharp is your blade and how hard should you press, when this is the only time you have done it. When done, it looks like a scratch on the suface.

Thanks, I really like that page, too! I already have the bridge/multi assignments down, I just need a tutorial on how to do the battery trick without killing my cpu.
