Depends if you're talking about the cities or the counties. Of cities, I like SD better; of counties, I prefer LA.

Thats one good neighborhood in the Bronx. I'm in the Bronx (born and raised) and have NEVER had any problem and there are several nice neighborhoods in the Bronx including Riverdale. Most of the better neighborhoods are in the northern part of the borough. (I live near the Botanical Gardens and Fordham University..its a pretty decent place).


Now if you had said "LA is just one really big crime magnet... like the SOUTH Bronx! ..then I would've agreed. South Bronx is a dump and I refuse to go anywhere near it.
