Poll: Kingston ram from buy.com, what cips did you get?

i wanted to poll which chips you recieved from buy.com on that kingston deal. i want to buy it but i really want infineon chips, so im wondering what my chances are.

1 week ago I received pc100 128MB cas2 with Infineon chips. Does 133 cas2. $35 after rebate...Not bad.

I got the same mem with infineon chips fro onvia 2 weeks ago. Have not put it to use yet but I will try pushing it.

I bought 2 when it was DOTD.........128mb for $60 shipped (PC100 CL2).

They are Infenion chips and running strong 140mhz at CL2.....just luv it

Bought the 256 MB DIMM when it was on special at Buy.com in late November. Uses Samsung chips 🙁 but it doesn't matter since I run it in spec anyways.

so far everyone who has purchased the kingston valueram from buy.com has recieved infineon chips...nice!. maybe ill order tomorrow..do you guys think that if two different cc's with different names but same billing address would interfere with the rebates in anyways? i will use two different mailing addresses regardkess but was wondering if they also checked out the billing adresses also.

I wouldn't be upset if I got Samsung memory chips, that's for darn sure! Probably the best fab in the memory business.

BTW, I've not seen Samsung, but I have seen Infineon and Hyundai on the Kingston sticks.

Kingston Value RAMs come with many different chips including IBM, Infineon, Samsung, Hyundai, Nanya, and so on. So it does not mean that you will get the chip you want, even many others get it.
