Poll: just passing through = inn before the lock?

I've noticed that when a topic is taking a very wrong turn, I notice many members going in and saying "just passing through" do you consider this the same as "inn before the lock?" I think I do. I sometimes also see people saying, "I smell a lock" that too may kind of seem like it. (I think I did that a couple times).

So what do you think?
