Although it's hard to get any use out of it this time of year in the northern environs
Let's just say do you try to use it regularly when the weather is nice?

I have one, but it's not really viable to use it where I live. Anywhere that's short distance I'll walk, everything else I'll use my car.

Couldn't get me off my bike 7 or so years ago.......

This was debunked years ago. Even the physician who originally posited that cycling could cause impotence now agrees that cyclists are less likely to become impotent than non-cyclists.

For road riding I have a hand made Bruce Gordon frame with full Dura Ace groupo. (19 Lbs)
For off road a Haro Team frame that I built up with various parts mostly XT and after market. (23 Lbs)
I also have a Pre WW2 fat tire cruiser (Dayton) with a 1943 plate on it and a old schwinn Typhoon that I'm building up.
Also a Trek 7000 US made frame thats mostly built up with STX RC(this one is FOR SALE)

(It's good to run a bike shop!)

I have a bike, but it's a junker. I still ride it, but I don't take care of it anymore beyond limping it along.

I'm a pretty high energy guy and I get stir crazy if I don't ride. In the summer, I ride 15-30 miles a few times a week.

Slightly OT, but Brutuskend, I have a q for you. I still need a new bike. I have a $160 store credit at a store that sells Trek and Fisher. Based on test rides, I think I like the 17.5 inch Trek 6700. What do you think of that frame (and components, but if I break them, I'll upgrade) for the price? Do you think it's a good starting point?

EDIT: The 6700 in question is a 2002 model.

Got a link to the bike?

If you like I'll look it over for you. (we don't sell Treks, so I'm not up on that model)

My Trek 7000 is a 17 inch frame BTW! ;)

And is for sale BTW.

I can say however that the 2002 Haro's are a GREAT deal.
The V-1 VGF is Alum frame, adj. front shock, Cartridge B/B, Cassette rear hub, and fair comp.'s for around $259.95

Oh sorry, I thought maybe you sold Treks because you had one.

Anyway, here is a link at Trek's site. This one sells for about $750-800.

Trek 6700

Because it's so easy to want more and better, I'm also thinking of moving up to the 8000 (see link on left side of page), but it's about $1000-1100 (don't remember exactly). The 8500 is even more, it's closer to $1400-1500.

Thanks for taking a look. :)

EDIT, You're welcome to tell me more about your 7000, but I probably can't afford anything until after taxes :(.

EDIT 2, I'll check out the Haros on the web. I think the store I have credit at is also a Haro dealer.
