IMO, JD tastes better, however, for the price differential, JD is not worth it. However, the price differential between Jimmy and Ancient Age makes Jimmy not worth it... so, if I am drinking for price, I go with AA. If I am drinking bourbon for enjoyment, I got with Maker's Mark. Thus, neither JD nor JB make it onto my preferred bourbon list. However, they are more common than either Maker's Mark or Ancient Age, and thus when I am at the bar I buy myself JB, when someone else is picking up the tab I go with JD.

Amen to that. I only drink JD on someone else's bill...or if my buddy is going to the army base to pick up some alcohol.

Between those two? Beam, they both taste like ass, but Beam has come through for me when it's party time :)
