Poll: iTunes vs. Ephpod

After having used Ephpod for my iPod for close to a year, and now on iTunes, I can say hands down....iTunes! It is so much better than Ephpod for me, especially the all around features of it. I love it.

ephpod to put stuff on ipod. cdex to rip mp3s.

they are both smaller and more efficient then iTunes.

Winamp to play mp3s.

I am all about memory conservation and small quick programs.

you guys should give more credit to ephpod, for quite a while it was the only free option to move media from a pc to an ipod...i think it was extremely generous of that kid to create such a funtional piece of software and release it for free

you add all your files into the library. you don't need shell integration because you use the itunes search features to find music on your drive far faster then digging though subdirectories. just type in the first couple letters in the search box and it starts to bring up hits.. or you can look by genre or artist or whatever field if you have your mp3s tagged correctly. then just pick and choose into the playlist on the left. buncha playlist options for smart playlists.

iTunes is cool, but I'm still kind of partial to apps like Ephpod and XPLAY. Same functionality and all through the Explorer interface. But then again, the syncing with iTunes is just plain nice. Just depends on your preference.
