We will give the idea consideration, but the admin will be the one that makes the decision. The fact is, the ban on e-bay was implemented back when we had very few moderators, and could not effectively monitor the Hot Deals and For Sale forums to prevent people from linking their auctions.

Now that we have more people helping, it may be time to consider removing it.

In the interim, if the mean mod were on duty right now, about half of you would be banned. Dedpuhl is correct that defeating the language filters, even for a mild word such as that being discussed, has gotten many peopole banned in the past.

It's a simple matter of following the rules established by the house you are visiting.
