Putting them on the floor in my house results in them getting very dusty and highly likely to getting kicked and bumped. I keep mine on my desk. My mom insists on putting her tower on the floor though, and there are scuff marks on the case where her shoes have hit it...

Other: both. Since I have many computers, I have some on the floor and some on my desk, I have most of them up though, as the place where I live its pretty dusty.
