Same here. I've actually used Linux a few times trying to setup a web server at home, but popping in a Windows 2000 Pro CD was much easier and didn't really matter for what I was doing. Also, I'd try the Mac OS anyday they sell it for PC's... I don't have the money/need for a Mac.

Right now my primary machine is my PC, which runs Win2K. However, it's only my primary machine due to the circumstances I'm living under as of right now; once I'm employed and settled, I'll go back to my iMac, as I prefer using it.. (even though it's a slower machine).

Yeah, who said that? I run Linux on my servers although I'll probably be running Solaris or some variant of BSD on my Sun SPARCserver 1000E once I get it up and running.

What's funny? Are you trying to say that ATOT is full of "power users?"

I guess to an old lady, the average ATOTer is a power user, but honestly I'd say there's only a handful of real power users around here. Maybe one in fifty. Look at most peoples' desktops when there are screenshot threads - most people just have IE and AIM open, with their dorky windows XP themes to show off. Maybe some game icons, winamp running, etc. Those are power users? How so? Since when has linux been touted as the superior surfing/chatting/gaming/music OS?

I physically use both the same ... however I use linux for ALL my server tasks, and windows mostly for games, media, and browsing.

I use XP primarily, I have dabbled with linux several times in the past, and will do so again I'm sure. My entire company runs windows and I have to support them so it's just easier for me to use it too.
