She doesn't want to sign up on AT to give her own thoughts. ;)
Let her enjoy what we call "life" and not get stuck on AT, it's for her own good.

If her 'life' consists of harassing YOyo about drinking out of a pop can, she needs a good hobby. Might as well be AT.

Just buy a mug or glass at a dollar store? It isn't too weird to refill an old bottle, but it looks really cheap, and eventually the bottle starts looking like crap.

I have a water bottle at home, but I don't want to deal with bringing it back and forth to wash it once in a while. I don't have a dish washer, so I'd have to do it by hand too.

I figure that as long as I have disposable containers that I get everyday for 25 cents, I might as well just keep using them.

I'd understand the "strange" factor if the cans had milk in them or something like that beforehand, but soda is just water with sugar and bubbles in it basically. Having water with a little bit of residual soda in it doesn't seem strange to me while it seems to be the main point of "strangeness" for the issue here.

Nalgenes are 10 bucks, pick one up at one of the 5 bike shops near you.

There actually is some Miller High Life in the fridge right now, but it's $1 instead of 25 cents.

err, water bottles are not that hard to wash... and if you really don't want to wash, just rinse it before you refill everytime. That should get it clean enough since the content is just tap water and the only thing you are washing is really backwash residue and the place where your mouth comes into contact with the plastic.
