Actually, they've come to the conclusion that picking your nose and eating it is some sort of natural tendancy.. It is only shunned depending on your society.

Your nose is like an air filter. When you eat those juicy, salty boogers.. you're helping your immune system along by giving it samples of what it needs to fight.

Well I don't know about the eating it part, but there are some times where you just gotta pick because the kleenex won't do it justice.
