<< hey mods, you guys play favorites...? i mean other than the elites. >>

No. Anyway, we always lie.

damn quote!
if they always lie, then they'd be lying about having favorites, so they would have favorites. But if they always lie, then to tell would be lying, making them always be telling the truth, which wouldn't make sense, and then they wouldn't have favorites....AHHHH....gotta study for chemistry now...but...CAN'T THINK ANYMORE, QUOTE...DRIVING ME....CRAZY!

edit: cycling = sport, billiards = game

cycling is a sport where you practice atleast 7 hours at a time... its a bloody sport.

billards is as much of a sport as playing warcraft, starcraft and chess.

7 hours? 16 days a week?

Competitive billiards is an accepted sport whether you like it or not...

when i said 7 hours i just meant on a whim. thats what lance armstrong does. 7 hours of pedaling is a light workout😛

as someone else said, there is strategy in cycle racing believe it or not. the teams take turns letting each other draft and stuff.

as for billards, it IS in the same catagory as say.. a starcraft tournament.

Meh... billiards may be a sport but it's players are not athletes. But just barely a sport... any professional activity where an able-bodied person can train every day of their life and still not be able to 1. run a mile or 2. bench press their weight, is a little suspicious as a sport. Professional darts, bowling, billiards, etc... barely sports. Lumberjacking, curling, etc average. Pentathlon/Decathlon: the epitome of sport.

I've had enough...I'm taking my non-sporting cue stick and going to beat up that 5 year old riding his sporting tricycle up and down the street. Heh.

Oh...any of you other sporting cyclists happen to come by....you watch out too.

It's an activity. Kinda like backgammon. It doesn't mean it's any easier to beat your opponent than in any other sports/activities.

You've GOT to be kidding me. I don't see Tour de Ping Pong coverage on TV.

hey ping pong is def a sport. played well u see that thing zing back and forth. i guess the only exposure americans have to professional type play is that forest gump scene where he's playing in china.

its #@% tiring if u do it well, all about speed and control

tv coverage means nothing. american football isn't a sport in china because they don't watch it there right? 😉
