POLL: Is ATOT your automatic Google?

Do you purposely ask questions on ATOT when you could find the answer yourself on Google?

Do you ask for research topics/sources when you fully know that you can find it on a searchengine?

Do you ask questions that a normal, sane human being has no right to even question?

Things that can be easily found I look up on Google. For questions where opinions are needed I tend to look to ATOT.

Depends on how specific the thing I'm looking for is. If it's a matter of plugging in a simple question, google is fine. If I'm not sure what something is called; or what it should be called, then I'll ask ATOT.

most of the time if you are curious about something there are others that are curious about it, too. posting it here gives the answers/insight for multiple people who otherwise wouldn't have thought to search.

If AT had a search engine as good as google that would be awesome.

if it's a simple thing, then google is my friend (especially since i use Opera), but if i require help with brains behind it, then AT is the place. people actually respond (sometimes....;)) but i also try and help as much as i can as any AT member should...

I search for info here on ATOT a lot, but mainly because I like to get flesh and blood responses from "normal" "average" people rather than read a canned article on some shady website. Thus, I often start here for business tips, credit card tips, and many other tips. Mainly just because I can get a range of responses and I know that most of the posts have no personal interest in having me go one way or another way.

it's perfectly fine to make a post asking for first-hand opinions or experiences. It's stupid to post here for a statistic, or for something like say... "How do bombs hurt people" :p

atot is actually quite helpful on certain types of questions.

if I need an info on something specific than google will do. but if I need to explain what I need to know, ATOT is better.

but you do have to deal with wanna be mods ;)
