Poll: Interested in an RPG-only Video Game Magazine?

I have a friend (writes for RPGFan) who wants to eventually create a magazine devoted entirely to the RPG genre. He would do as other magazines do...providing reviews, previews, columns, contests, and free RPG company stuff with a subscription. Also, like many other magazines, the web site would follow (to a degree) the magazine, leaving the two to play off of each other when offering special content.

He asked me to find a few large audiences to poll if they would pay for a subscription to a magazine like this.. so please answer

if by rpg you mean those movies that squaresoft likes to make, then not really. if you mean neverwinter nights, bring it on!

you gotta cover mostly computer games, if you did books and stuff i wouldnt be soo interested.

It would cover all types of RPGs. Unfortunately magazines like IGN, etc. have writers that have a broad range of games. With this magazine, they would attempt to cover most/all games within the RPG genre. Since PC RPGs are very under-represented, the magazine would focus on them as well.

Nope, the reviewers at Computer Gaming World know their RPGs and with CGW I get good coverage of all game genres plus a shiny CD to save on downloading hassles.
