Huh. So all these people who were losing everything under Obama have jobs, eh?

Fascinating.

I assume he snuck into your houses and got your guns, too, right?

I'm thinking around 200K?

Well, the official potus twitter is using an Obama inauguration crowd as it's background image. So, I think that might answer the question.

Did their camera get worse somehow?

Obama was too busy creating jobs to worry about the camera over 8 years of being a leader.

Don't worry, Trump will re-release the image of his inauguration with thick gold trim obscuring all the empty spaces, and maybe some transparent "star frames" randomly scattered over the image. Classy!

It is amusing that you are trying to conflate going to the inauguration with accepting the results of the election.

I'm interested to see if the crowd increases in the next 30 minutes or so, because right now this is downright embarrassing. lol.
Yes, I am "conflating" accepting the results of the election with attending the inauguration, as well as with attending to bribe and threaten electors into changing the people's votes, claiming the Russians stole the election, calling Trump an illegitimate President, and, well, all the other examples of not accepting the results of the election. And yes, that crowd is embarrassing for Trump. Granted, it's raining, but it's also a hell of a lot warmer than last time.

He could take a clue from Stalin and simply add some potted plants to cover the missing people. Then he could claim to be the Green President. Just look at all these CO2-removing plants!

Okay I just want to break this rant down so we can address all the individual parts separately:

1) So attendance at the inauguration is required to accept it? I guess almost nobody accepted it this time then. lol. 😉
2) Threats and bribes? The number of people who did that are so tiny it doesn't even register. Apparently several dozen out of 64 million people. lol again.
3) Virtually no one claims that Russians stole the election, what they do claim is that Russia influenced the election, which is accurate. Not sure why you have a problem with people saying true things.
4) Despite it being fairly clear that Comey's unprofessional acts and the effects of Russian intervention were likely the cause of the change in outcome, this could definitely be viewed as not accepting the results of the election. Then again, reasonable people could definitely say those are pretty decent reasons no to accept the result of the election.

So one out of four of your reasons (not attending the inauguration, lol) is actually valid and applicable. Way to go, hahaha.

Funny, I would expect that a better benchmark for this would be how many people tune in/stream. I don't even like to attend movie theaters.

there's no commitment to that. Tuning in could simply mean the TV or radio is on in some uninhabited room in your giant McMansion. Moving your fat body off the couch, onto a bus, and out into the cold ass rain to watch this event is a far more reliable sample for real interest. Bare in mind that both metrics are simply a sample meant to represent a larger population's engagement in that thing. Also recall that Trump and his fans were very adamant about the numbers that he brought to his public campaign events during the election as a real gauge of his popularity and seriousness as a candidate. And I think we can all agree, in retrospect, that this was a useful tool to explain how things ended up the way they did.

So, using Trump's own metric--physical commitment--I think it's pretty safe to say that this is, by far, the least popular president in recent memory. Good start, so sad!

What true man of "God" be in attendance at this joke called the inauguration?

What true man of "God" endorse such a man as Trump?

What true man of "God" endorse the murderous system known as the US government?

What true man of "God" supports America's imperialist ways?

What true man of "God" can support a billionaire to look out for the well being of others?

It appears that there were three such men - one Jew and two Christians.

HAHA. Lying so close to taking over. My DJT bullshit thread is going to be bigly in four years. Assuming he lasts that long.

Anarchist420 wants his shtick back.

The preliminary attendance estimates are in:

Trump: 250,000
Obama 2013: 1,000,000
Obama 2009: 1,800,000

Can't blame that on the weather or a not-so-groundbreaking candidate. There just weren't nearly as many people interested in Trump. For context: Bush Jr.'s first inauguration had more attendees (300,000).
