I have heard and read about a lot of the problems "that" types of piercing causes. I really wouldn't want to "p" sitting down the rest of my life if I was a guy. Yes, that is one of the potential side effects.

It will be a hidden piercing, and I really dont think it is lack of comfort with myself the way I am, of course it is difficult at best to analyze your own issues with the world.
It is not an item to show off to anyone, the only people who will see it are my wife and myself.
And lastly, I do not consider it to be a permanent body modification (such as a tatto), if I decide I dont like it, it is easily removed and the only person that will know it was there is my mortician.

People who get infected from a piercing in most cases its from neglet. All piercings require care & cleaning. That person obviously wasnt mature enough to take care of it. I wonder if he showers?
