If there's another terrorist attack, I say we nuke Mecca. The next attack after that, we nuke another random Islamic city. Rinse, lather, repeat until (a) Islamic terrorism stops completely or (b) the Islamic world runs out of cities.

Add Jerusalem to your list. That way the various religious *ssholes in the mid-east will have no place to fight over.

Then we get nuked, and we start all over from the stone age. No problem.

People are kidding themselves if they think they can do things like that without retribution.

You're assuming we can survive the nuking.

um....no...

if there were another terrorist attack on US soil before the elections this fall, Bush would have no chance of winning.....if it was shown to be the work of Al-Q, he would never be able to rationalize the money, time, and lives spent in Iraq while Osama was still lurking and planning......heck, that is a tough issue for him now, it would be 100X worse with another attack.

I still think they will trot out a captured Osama before the elections this fall..

Based on this thread and typical P & N debate,

- Dems would say it proves our new police state was a waste of a half-trillion dollar deficit.
- Reps would say we need a strong war leader like Bush to get the mission accomplished.

Depending on the marketing campaigns, moderates could be swayed either way.

Bush would win, sadly enough.

Hee, what I'd like to see is Osama get on Aljazeera and give an endorsement for Bush, citing how the war against terror has afforded him a great many converts, allowed his people to kill americans in great numbers, and how the whole Iraq war has allowed him to remain at large. Odds are it's one of the few things that stands a chance of keeping Bush from a second term.

Of course that's all assuming he hasn't already been captured and Bush isn't planning on trotting him out before the public for a nice public relations coupe right before the election.

Bush/Cheney '04 Installing allies one dictator at a time

Vote Bush in '04: "I Has Incumbentory Advantitude"
