Assuming you're not the chosen one and being unplugged does not mean you get to replug in with superpowers or any new abilities/knowledge/goodies.

So either choose to virtual life you have now or unplug and live in the postapocalyptic wasteland

My answer:
Blue pill. I think my life is pretty good right now and this world is as real to me as anything I could exprience unplugged. I wouldn't want to lose all my friends and family by unplugging. Seems like Matrix really simplified the dilemma by making Neo into this loner with nothing to lose by unplugging. But most of us have so many attachments to this world that it seems a big sacrifice

Not really sure, but heh, some change would be good so I voted red. It would be more interesting at least, and we're all going to die anyway.

Note: this is contingent on me not being alone. That would suck.

I'd stay plugged in. Everyone I know is here and who wants to live in a shitty wasteland? If everything inside the matrix looks and feels real, and interactions with other people are real what difference does it make if it's actually real?

I'd probably want to be unplugged. However, once I realize how shitty it really is I'd probably make a deal with Agent Smith in return for being plugged back in...with a more affluent status in society. Sound familiar?

for as much as I'd love to participate in post-apocalyptic gay rave parties, I think I'll stick with my steak dinner.

great flick. I liked it way more than the Matrix, too. solid story, no BS slo-mo, better acting.

I would have some demands:

I want a talking dog, a robot dinosaur, mind powers, a space elevator, mars, 20 batmans as my bodyguards, 1 iron man as my chef, a 75,000 gallon fish tank and a flying house/castle.

I would stay plugged in for all that.

Unplug me. I want to be able to jack in, leap from roof to roof and kill anyone with impunity. You could learn all the knowledge of the world in a matter of days by having it uploaded directly to your brain... What possible negatives are there to unplugging (apart from death which is going to happen to you either way)? God, you guys are a bunch of pansies...

I hate to even say it but I'd stay plugged in in your scenario.

Enjoy life or hate life?
