Poll: If I gave you $100, would you eat a "fresh" spinach salad today?

09/26/06 I dont know about you, but Im going to wait at least 6 months before I trust that stuff again. But for $100 would you chance it now?

09/27/06 UPDATE: I had a spinach & iceburg lettuce medley as part of my 3 course meal at the country club today!!

I would. $100 is worth it.

But normally I would never eat spinach in my salad anyways. Spinach = Nasty

better hope you never go to a restaurant that serves mixed field greens in your salad... most mescalin mixes contain spinach (sp on mescalin?)

I ate a whole large bag of fresh spinach the week after everything was announced. I'm fine. 😛 Though mine came from a different brand grown in a different part of Cali than the one CNN cited as being the source of the problem. I was kind of sad when I went into the grocery store Sunday and there was no spinach. 🙁

Ya... I probably would. Ecoli? Pfffft... big deal. 😛 The actual chances of me getting sick would be rediculously low.

spinach dip is diferent.

spinach dip typically contains a processed spinach, that the FDA is NOT worried about at all, its cooked at the plant, checked, then frozen, and then reheated at the restaurant anyways.

Dude, for $100, I'd eat a bag that was proven to be contaminated.

I can eat anything. I remember I ate some pork that got my family sick, but I was hungry and finished it all off. I was fine. Happened again with some chicken that they thought had some salmonella on it. Eaten.
