I got friends on both ICQ/AIM, so I use both. I want Jabber to get some more development though, an Open Source unified instant messaging product would be cool :).

You didn't make a "None, I don't have time for BS'ing" option?

I'm hurt.

AIM for me...i've been using it for a long time, since it first came out, all my friends use AOL and i never did, i'm 18 (turned 18 yesterday!) so i've been in high school and nobody at school has ever had anything other than AOL, except me...so i pretty much had no choice...

when i would ask people what ISP they used they would either say AOL or if their parents set up their internet, they would say netscape (since almost everyone used that browser then...hehe)

Hahah AIM is for annoying gamers. Been using icq since it first came out and have been using it ever since and will probably use it forever. Alot of newbies don't like ICQ either cuz it's too "complicated", lol.

ICQ man, the ORIGINAL! AIM and others and wannabes!
damn good stuff from the Israelis...

meanwhile, I must say ICQ/AIM... are a real waste of time... and EVERYONE go Invisible Mode coz they don't know what to say some not-so-close friend but don't want to ignore them totally...

AIM for me, only because I was a AOLer. But I try to have it off most of the time. It only leads to lost time. I guess it depends on what the person wants to do while online.
