I've heard a few songs of theirs, especially that one they play on MTV all the time "I Beleive" i think is the name.

Just don't like their sound. Kinda boring and it sounds like they are trying too hard.

What do you think ?

everybody takes from everybody..."nothing new under the sun"...

but, still, they just don't sound all that talented to me. Very....regurgitated (sp?)

[ American Bandstand] Hi I'm Allen, 47😕, from Sacramento, it's catchy, but it's kinda hard to dance to. I'll give it a 7 😉 😎 [ / American Bandstand ]

it's funny.. he's just making fun of different stuff in the video... the song is lacking just like fountains of wayne "stacy's mom"... good video, however the song is lacking

I saw another video from them... It was just a 4 piece band with a woman singing, in sort of a high school auditorium/gymnasium, and there were only like 30 people in the audience. What song was that?

"I Believe in a Thing Called Love" was a huge hit in England a few months back (I listen to Virgin radio via shoutcast and they played it soooo often, even had contest of people trying to sing like the guy)

I believe the singer must either have no testys, or has his groin kicked everyday. Some of those notes he/she hits are pretty up there.

I got a nice laugh out of "I believe in a thing called love" when the single first hit, but then I bought the CD and listened to the rest of it... and Mazer's right, they do freakin ROCK.

These guys are one of those bands like Spinal Tap, where if they are joking, they're classic. If they're serious, they have issues. As for now, I think that they have some fairly original sounds, does sound a little like Queen, but I like them, and I enjoy their music vids.

Maybe I decided I liked them right away because I saw them for a sec on VH1 and it was so nice to see something different from the rap and R&B crap that is beginning to dominate the cable music channels...what can I say I just plain hate the stuff.

Well there's my two bits

i like them, different from most of the other stuff being played, kind of an 80's rock sound....cant be a serious band, but i kinda like em. my brother played me some of their songs, think ill pick the cd up this weekend.
