If you could go back and watch one of the following matches, what match would you want to see:

Hogan Vs Andre the Giant

or

The Rock Vs Steve Austin

IMHO, nothing in wrestling will EVER match the magnitude of Hogan Vs. Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania III...

Except by today's standards, that match was incredibly slow and boring. I liked Austin vs. Rock at Wrestlemania XV, there was so much backstory involved, after Austin's 1 year feud with McMahon (the best feud EVER), Austin finally won the belt. I'm a little biased though, because I went to XV.

True. Most wrestling back in tha day was slow paced. Seeing Hogan approach and stare down Andre in the middle of the ring still gives me goosebumps....

Hogan was the best of his time, no doubt. I don't watch it enough today to say how good the Rock is, but I remember growing up watching Hulk, Andre the Giant, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man Randy Savage, The Rockers, Jesse Ventura, and so many others that were great in their own time. I voted Hulk Hogan all the way....

Don't forget about Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Especially when he tossed his snake into the middle of the ring at the Royal Rumble (?)

<< I would like to see the Hulkster as a good guy once again before he truly retires. I'm sure he'll retire within the next couple of years. I'm not sure how long his contract is with the WWF, but he's getting old. I bet he has to dye his beard/hair before shows so he doesn't look that old. He's one of my favorites, and I don't really like him as a heel. >>

believe it or not, hogan is only 43 years old.

NO WAY! :Q
I'm gonna go look that up. He looked old 10 years ago; there's no way he'd be in his early thirty's back then.
