The posting of nude photos wouldn't bother me. What would bother me was that she didn't tell me. If she told me about it, I'd be fine with it. Heck, I'd probably take the photos myself. But if she felt she couldn't tell me she was doing it that's just the beginning of the end; it means she doesn't trust me.

I know, it's different to be standing naked in front of five live strangers than to be standing naked in front of a camera, but it's still comical....five people to view and it's time to duck and cover, but then the calenders get hung up and millions get to see. We humans are curious creatures.

Same sort of doublethink occurs with the topic, many of the people who would be offended and hurt by their SO posing will look at a stranger in a magazine or on TV and think nothing of it. Yet they're participating in the exchange, under any moral examination just as guilty as the person who got naked, no? If you're not talking morality then I don't see a conversation.

Can't vote cuz the poll doesn't ask intent. Under my bizzare collection of thoughts is found the entry: nudity's fine, nudity for fun is just another way to have fun, nudity for profit is prostitution. Nudity for non profit charities, hmm, that one's a boggler, kinda like the situations talked about in the article, ok for tasteful nudes in a calender, not ok for strippers to raise money at a carwash.

I'm with Isla and some of the others on this - I wouldn't have a problem if my SO wanted to have tasteful / artful nude photos taken. In fact, I'd be very encouraging and supportive! And if she wanted to post them on the net - I'd be a little disturbed at first, but I'd get over it.

As for porno, tho - eh, if she really wanted to do it (soft-core, of course), I wouldn't stop her, but I wouldn't be in favor it. Hardcore == definite NO-NO! (even more so if its with someone else 😱)
 
I guess im a weirdo. It would NOT bother me. Im sure my wife would not cheat on me. oh and i can tell people yah thats my wife. heh
 
Fortuntely my wife has a sense of decency about her that would inhibit her from doing this. But if she were a different person altogether and was the type of person who would do these things I would have a SERIOUS problem with it. Then again, if she was the type of person who would distribute nude photos of herself on the web I would never have married her in the first place.
 
After reading all the "sure why nots" I have decided that we should all live and work in the nude. Why wear clothes at all if we don't care who sees us nude?
