POLL: How often do you defragment?

Once every two weeks.. It takes about 20-25 minutes to do my 12.9GIG with Norton Speed Disk, it used to take 5-6 hours with windows defrag.

I defrag about once a month or after alot of loading/unloading programs

Every Sunday afternoon, after I have checked my drives with Norton AV and Ontrack PCcillin. I use the defrag utility in Ontrack's Fix-It Utilities 2000. Much faster than Windows 98.

Usually weekly...sometimes more often. I use that godawful norton scheduling program and it does it in the middle of the night. What really sucks it when I am staying up late, and I forget to turn it off..lol

Also, I wouldn't install Norton on a WinME system..unless you like kernel32.dll error's.

I installed Norton System Works 2001 with no problems at all. What version did you install and what type's of problems did you have?

I use smart scheduling from Diskeeper 6... never has to worry about defragging ..
