However long it takes me to stroll through the living room to the kitchen to get something to drink while my parents are watching.

More if there is some one cool that's going to be on a late night show, or if I find out about some documentry that sounds good.

<-- Watches too much

TV is used exclusively for movies/XBox.

:)

exactly. when I moved in I had a live line (basic cable I guess? whatever doesn't need a box), but it took me months to actually connect it to a tv (not my tv though. I setup an old 19" for my girl in the bedroom).

The main TV is exclusively fed from s-video line from my computer (only used for movies).

I rarely sit down to watch tv, I usually just have it on while I clean, get ready for bed, etc. My live-in family is addicted...the TV is never off.

There are people who watch less than 14 hours/week? That's 2 hours day! Kids today are spoiled with the internet. Watch more TV! I hate the new sitcoms and stupid dramas. But I watch more than 2 hours a night of late-night TV. An hour of Seinfeld, an hour of Conan, an hour of Cosby, an hour of Cheers. Several hours of football on Sunday. A few hours a week of NFL Live, NFL Matchup, Inside the NFL, Sportscenter. Man, I watch about 5 hours/day!

I only watch a few shows. Generally:

Conan O'Brien
Jay Leno
Trading Spaces (that show is hilarious)
DIscovery (when they have stuff on civilization)
Sports Channels
The Comedy CHannel

I just turned the satelite back on. Now, I 'm kinda wishing that I didn't. (Well ask me tomorrow when I'm in the throes of college football gameday.)

I used to be a TV junkie, now nowhere as much.

About the only things I watch regularily now are
CSI, original and spinoff
Law & Order, and spinoffs
Alias
Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (Now that is a funny game show)

With CNN, Discovery, CTV Newsnet all in quick bursts.

I agree with those that tend to hate most of current television. 90% of everything on there is crud. :disgust:

Not a bunch during the week (mostly just Monday Night Football and the CSIs), but this time of year I watch tons of TV on the weekend.

Saturday:
Wake up -> Gameday -> Football for 12 hours straight -> ESPN -> Bed

Sunday:
Wake up -> Sunday NFL Countdown -> NFL for 8 or so hours -> Who knows what for a couple of hours until the Sunday night game -> Sunday night NFL game -> watch a couple of shows on Adult Swim -> Bed
