Was expecting to see more big drinkers, with the developers and tech support folk here. Usually those jobs go hand in hand w/ large quantities of caffeinated soda.

Which I believe is directly responsible for the obesity levels among my coworkers.

They lumber around with their decade old super big gulp cup grafted to their arm & wonder why they weigh 400 lbs.

You never know, they could be drinking Diet Cola? How many times have I gone out to lunch where someone orders a plate of grease and fat and a diet soda? 😛

I used to drink - now hear this - upwards of 1300 calories in Mountain Dew per day. You do the math...

I'm down to about 510 now. 😕

1~2 now a days.

sometimes when I dont buy pop at all ... I just drink water for loong time (6months?~ year?) but when we get em, I drink about 1~2 can a day.

I haven't had a soda/pop in over 5 years. I used to drink 5-6 cans a day (sometimes one right after the other).

I got a soda fountian for clients at work so I drink way to much Dr. Pepper.
Oh man that's when I was killing my pancreas with 1300+ calories a day in Moutain Dew. I LOVE fountain soda. I can't say why, its just better. I'd get one of those plastic 55 gallon barrels with a handle on the side they call "Ultra Chug" or whatever and fill that puppy up... 😀

Usually about a 24oz bottle every other day or so, so 1 can a day. Its bad for you though, so I usually try to make it diet, but sometimes you just gotta have the real deal. One day they are going to invent a diet soda that doesnt taste like a diet soda.

Although diet vanilla coke is 90% there.

I wonder how much a fountain costs, w/ the carbonation things and big things of syrup, etc? That'd be cool to have in the house! I guess I could not be lazy and check google, but, I suspect it's not cost effective or takes up way too much space or I'd read about more people owning them!

A few bottles a day at the office (it's actually a better value (read cheaper) than the bottled water). When I'm home it's coffee or water from the Brita pitcher.

i used to be addicted to it...then i got off and stayed "clean" for about 6 weeks. Then i was dating a girl who couldn't accept that i don't drink pop...then i got back on it. About 4 weeks ago, i got off pop AND gatorade (and any other sugary drinks). I used to drink at least a gallon of Gatorade a day, not to mention all the bottles of pop in-between.

I know a lot of caffeine addicts and it is not pretty that they can not live without soda but see nothing wrong with being a slave to it. As for myself, I very rarely drink soda, maybe once a year and when I do, it is usually Sprite. I drink water and milk most of the time. I can't believe people who have to have juice or something because they say water has no taste.

Depends. I'm trying to cut back, so I try to limit it to 64 oz a day. Unchecked, a 350, 400, or even the rare 500 oz day is possible.

At one time I was consuming nearly 8 cans of Surge per day. Now I'm down to 2 to 4 sodas per day during the week, and maybe 1 or 2 per day on the weekends.

I'm still waiting for science to develop the perfect artificial sweetener.

Splenda isn't bad at all.
