I would not pay more than $25 for it. I just sold my Voodoo3 3500TV for $50.00 smackers. The equipment get outdated too quick to retain any value.

once i got my hercules 3d prophet 2 i sold my voodoo3 2000 for $25, and i was suprised that i even got that much for it, i would say that $20 is pushing the envelope for your card, maybe less because it is soo old

You'll be lucky if you find someone who's willing to cough up $ 25 for a PCI display card. I'd keep it on the system I have and build a whole new one!

I think even $20 might be a bit high, considering how old the card is. Still, max is probably $20.

1.5 years ago is about 2-3 generations behind current equipment. I'd say the card has little or no resale value right now (Like the TNT card in my box).

Some people paid $270 for a V5 only about .5 years ago and now they sell used for $135 so they lost more than your whole card even cost you, so don't get upset.
I would say you could get $25 for it on the F/S board since it's PCI and they are sometimes more in demand.

A Diamond Monster Fusion PCI is better than the other voodoo banshees. It is clocked higher and the only one that I know of that came with a fan, plus the box art was pretty cool if you still have the box which I doubt you have. Just because it is PCI I would say 30-35$. I recently sold my old one to my brother for 40$, but I had to install it, get the best drivers, and overclock it for him. I think I paid about 120 or 130 for it retail in May of 99.

What you paid for something has no bearing on what it is currently worth.
Retail boxed Monster Fusions currently cost $62 shipped on Pricewatch. To hope for more than half of that on technology this old/bad is probably unwise.

I only paid around $50 (after MIR) for my Monster Fusion, in Aug. 1999. Seems you guys paid a lot more at the same time. Maybe because mine is AGP.

And I just did another driver search yesterday for my Monster Fusion. The result is sad. Diamond stopped its support for long time. The newest driver is from 3dfx, and it's buggy on 32b desktop (in notepad). And since 3dfx is also gone, I think that 02/2000's driver will be our last one, and it's for 98. No driver for win2k, win me or any future win version.

The hardware is not bad at all, this card offers more than enough speed for normal users, and it's even faster than my GeForce 256 in certain tests. Too bad it will be useless just because nobody will write driver for it.

LOL, not to be mean or anything, but Technology Devlops.

Seriously, Would you pay 40+ bucks for a card thats 1 and a half year old, and its technology is up by 3 or 4 fold?

Seriously, its really outdated, and Used. It should go for about 20, But, I wouldn't be suprised if you don't get any offers.

A friend of mine sold a V2-12 MB for $25, and hardware is more expensive around here than in the states.

I wouldnt pay more than like $20.

Yeah, you won't be able to get much for it. The 3d performance of the card isn't even as good as a Voodoo 2 card.

I paid $320 for my currend board about a year ago, I'd be lucky to get $100 for it now(GF DDR). Depreciation is something you have to except with PCs, what you pay $3000 for now likely won't be worth $300 in two years.

I'm with the majority here, around $25 if you sell it to anyone who knows something about hardware, though you might be able to get more off of one the idiots on the big auction sites.
