You just described my worst nightmare... 10 chicken breasts a week. I hope you cook them in different ways.

Dude, a footlong sub is like $6. How are you spending $20 a day?

When I'm living in an apartment, I spend about $90 a month (or $3/day). When I'm living in the dorms and have to eat in the cafeteria, it's more like $11-$12 a day.

My food usually breaks down thusly:

Lunch-$4
Dinner-$7
Drinks-$3
Snacks-$4

That's $18 or so.

If you're trying to cut down on food expenses, Taco Bell is your friend.
All fast food, even Taco Bell, is much, much more expensive than preparing your own meals, especially on the cheap.

Noodles, potatos, soups, grains, most canned items and even some cuts of meat.. are much, much cheaper.

You can get like 6-7lbs of chicken drumsticks for around 7$. Grill or bake them up, and it's enough food to last for a week when you mix it in with cheap things like pasta dishes, and sides like corn and potatos.. chicken tacos.

It varies wildly... I can eat really cheap like a couple of Taco Bell bean burritos for under $2 for lunch or like last month I spent $280 for one meal for me and my gf(nice restaraunt obviously).

Quality food has really gotten expensive lately.

varies drastically from $3-$25, sometimes I just eat a sandwich/chips and drink tea, others I might buy my lunch and eat an expensive dinner.
