Poll: How much do you pay per day for food for yourself?

Just for yourself. If, for example, you spend $280/wk for you and your wife's food, you would pick $20. This includes snacks, sodas at school, candy, whatever.

The reason that I ask is that I was looking and I'm spending nearly $20 per weekday on food. That's a horrendous amount. I need to cut it to under $10.

I eat out waaay too much. as of the begining of this month, I'm trying to eat out a lot less. maybe one or two meals/week instead of one or two meals/day.

Dude, a footlong sub is like $6. How are you spending $20 a day?

When I'm living in an apartment, I spend about $90 a month (or $3/day). When I'm living in the dorms and have to eat in the cafeteria, it's more like $11-$12 a day.
