*poll* how many times do you use a disposable razor???

i use mine about 5 to 6 times before i switch... is this normal. it seems like it's too expensive to use it once and throw it away. by the way, i use the mach 3.

Probably 5 to 7 times. I don't have the world's gnarliest beard so I don't plow through them like some folks I know. I can pretty much get away with shaving every other day.....a PITA when trying to grow a goatee/beard, but nice if you're lazy (like me) and don't want to shave every morning.

Heh. Women use those suckers too...although I use the disposable blades and I usually go until they simply don't shave anymore!

Mach3 blades last about 2-3 weeks for me...I basically use them till it irritates my neck and I have a few nicks. Those damn things are expensive!

Damn, what a racket! I ought to buy stock in that company! Hell, I use a ten cent BIC for a couple weeks comfortably if my wife doesn't get a hold of it. I can use it for a week after that if I don't mind it pulling a bit.

I use Mach 3 ultras, and I can go for up to 4 months without changing it. Mind you I only shave once every week and a half. Ahh, the joys of not being hairy

hmm... probably about 5-7 times, depending on how long my beard is when i shave (rather sporadically). i had a roommate who used the same mach 3 cartridge for 6 months at a time, and he shaved about every other day, too, with a pretty full beard!

I used to do that until I got this free promotional kit from Gillette, with lotsa razors Now I go every 4 months

Mach3 razor lasts me about 3 months, only because i'm asian and can't grow much of a beard with both quality and quantity.

i can just about go 2 days between shaves, and i go through 1 blade every 2 weeks

i have tried mach 3 but i didn't like it so i switched back to my trusty wilkinson FX diamond

Being that I'm half Iranian I tend to grow a horribly thick beard in a very short amount of time. I'm afraid to see how thick my beard will be in another 5 years. Nonetheless, I shave every other day and just let the stubble grow a little between days. It takes too much damn time to shave and I don't want to spend a fortune on the damn blades. I usually end up using a single blade for about a month and a half. They lose all the gooey smooth stuff after about two weeks, but I really don't find it any less comfortable without it. I very rarely cut my self, but once I do I know it is time to switch blades.

I don't need to shave very often, so usually only once or twice. Otherwise it starts to rust.
