[Poll] How many people are in your contact list?

I am trying to import my contact list into a couple of my "backup" e-mail accounts (Yahoo and Hotmail) and am getting the following error:

"The file you want to import is too large. Please delete some of the contacts and then try importing the file again."

I have 501 contacts.

Is that really that big? How many contacts do you have?

I only really have people in my address book I may actually randomly call/need their contact. The rest are on Facebook if I need to find them.

Maybe 30-40 in my phone.

At work ... the list is pretty big since it's a big fortune 500 company, and I sometimes keep in touch with people in other departments whom I haven't directly worked with in over a decade. Probably close to 500.

My personal list as far as family/friends who I care about enough to call or visit ... is more or less like 40 or 50.

In my professional life, I tend to play the "extrovert" part a lot more than in my personal life. It helps me to stay on top of my game.

In my personal life, I don't talk to people unless I want to talk to them. I have email and a phone for my convenience not for theirs 🙂

Then that doc would be your contact list.

i guess, but when i type something into gmail or outlook, it auto searches and just puts stuff in there, so i don't pay any attention to what is in the list(s)

outlook uses our company global address book, so does that count? i dunno how i would find out how many there are

i found it in gmail, it says 123 but a bunch of those are left over from when i tried to import/edit/export a list for my wife, probably half of them are left over from that

If combined emails and all the contacts they automatically add, probably 200ish.

My contact list includes every school employee in the region (by default), in addition to contacts that I've added. So, a few thousand.

My phone reads 396, though I only interact with a very small fraction of those on any kind of regular basis.

It syncs with google, so I guess it counts as phone and email.

I have 336 contacts, of which I actually contact about 10 on a regular basis. I don't need the rest, and if some piece of software says it can't handle them, I have no problem getting rid of the excess.
