Just the Slayer, a Celeron 500! I got a 1GHz Tbird a few weeks ago. Just waiting for the MSI K7T Turbo to be released so I can complete the upgrade. :)

Well when I was at home I had three in there, A 700 T-Bird, a K6-2 300, and my 366 PIII laptop.

But in my dorm room I have just the laptop and T-Bird. Donated my K6-2 to my sister till she gets her own..

1 working PC which I am on now.

Shelves and tables litered with parts; mobo's ("most" don't work), CPU's ranging from 486-25 to P200mmx to Celeron 300a, 5 or 6 Hard drives, 4 CDROMS, Bags of memory, cases, 3 - 15" monitors not in use....

Man, I need to get rid of some of this crap! ;)

at school:

p3 550 desktop (win2k, 384 megs ram, 40 gig hdd)
celeron 300 laptop (win98se, 64 megs ram, 6 gig hdd)
dual ppro 200 (was running freebsd, now running redhat 6.2 because of problems with freebsd, 128 ram, 3 gig ide hdd, used to be 1.5 gig scsi fireball)

roommate at school:
amd k6-2 333 desktop (win2k)
some dell p3 700 laptop (win2k)

home:
toshiba p120 laptop (win95b, 16 megs ram <- ouch!, 1.2 gig hdd)
toshiba 286 laptop with a 20 mb hdd and 640k ram? (dos 6.22), I used to do my pascal programming for APCS on this back in high school
p166mmx desktop (win95b, 64 megs ram, 8 gig hdd) - dad's
p166 desktop (win98se 128 megs ram, 15 gig hdd) - cousin's
p166mmx desktop (redhat 6.2, 96 megs ram, 2 gig hdd) - ipchains, dhcpd, and smbd =)

and when my sister's home for break, a p2-333 running WinME, 128 ram, 10 gig hdd.

so when both of us are home from school, we have... 8 computers running at home... 7 on the network, which consists of an 8 port 10baseT hub, 8 port 100baseT hub, and a 5 port 10/100baseT switch, all to share a blazing fast 56k dialup connect ;) I don't have the money to go wireless yet, so I just have a 100' cat5 cable hooked up to my laptop :p

These PC's aren't really all "mine," but I did build them all myself, and paid for them with my money for the lower end ones, and for some of the parts (like RAM, which I mostly bought here)....here's the list, it's kinda long....all of these comps are in my house:

My room:

1) gaming comp - p3 450 oc'd to 558 mhz, IDE RAID, geforce2 gts 64 ddr, 21" monitor, racing wheel - that one is mine. Have 2nd 14" monitor hooked up, too.
2) "skeleton" half case hp p2 333 - this is my mp3 box w/ 14" monitor, onboard video, VERY quiet power supply and quiet 1 gig hdd.
3) Iopener (will sell soon...but it's still here for now anyway).

My dad's office:

4) Fileserver - this is my comp too....dual celeron 466 w/ geforce DDR/DVI 32 megs, hooked up to 3 monitors....use this for trading stocks and stuff (thus, the monitors)
5) My dad's computer - p3 500, 256 mb RAM, 4 monitors (uses for work, etc.)
6) Toshiba laptop - pentium 150 - uses along w/ digital camera while going on vacation, road trips, etc....I use it too.

My bro's room:

7) P2 400 w/ 196 mb ram, ATI RAGE furry maxx card...he uses this for games, mp3's, wutever.

My sister's room:

8) My sister's computer - pentium pro 166 w/ 64 megs of ram - she uses this for mp3's and school mostly...I was gonna sell it but decided it to give it to her. I love my sister :)

***

9) Currently not being used for anythign really....just sitting there....it's always on though - cyrix 166 w/ 14" monitor. I think I had this one for the cdrom server, but then I got rid of the cdrom server so now I just have it for nothing...I guess if I break all the other computers while upgrading, this one will still be left?

Oh and I'm building #10 soon (a book PC), to be used at home, and in my car as an mp3 box, but then I'm getting rid of #1, 2 and 3 in exchange. Will also get rid of #9 sooner or later I guess....but currently....I have 9 computers in my house.

Oh ya.....you guys should see what happens when we will have a LAN party here later this month :). I got 2 8 port 10/100 baseT switches ready for like 5 or 6 more computers...it's gonna be fun :)

That's my rigs! I'm studying for cisco...so maybe after I get my CCNA, i can buy a cisco router and "secretly" hack a 10 mbit DSL line and hook it up to my house (currently have 144 mbit)....what do you guys think, will it work?

Dang its late, 2 AM....goodnight ppl.

I'm actually down to only three. Four if you include my GRiD pad.

Sold of the HPUX and gave away the old "mint condition" 386. No need to have so many PCs.

Scary is that my work PC is faster that all but one of my home PCs! :Q
