POLL: how many mpg do you get from your car?

The 2.8L V6 in my GTi pulls about 20 in town and about 26 on the highway. Way lower than I hoped it would.

how bout a 17-20 mpg option lately i've been getting closer to 20 (mostly highway driving). drive a 93 mx6 ls. i can get it down to 15 if i redline it a lot when the light turns green i learned that my first week of having the car... heh... i tend not to anymore (to save the engine and tranny as much as possible... as the tranny isn't shifting at 2nd/3rd properly ).

I prefer km/liter. I guess liter is too small of a unit for gas guzzling American mobile.

Yeah a liter won't get an american car to the end of the driveway .

My subaru gets an average of 31 and my volkswagen before that would average 41.

I get a sweet-assed 30 MPG in city! That's what you get in a 110 HP sentra. Not sure of highway...I'd guess several MPG more. I love filling up the tank for $11 ($.999/gallon right now).

For those who go by liters remember there is about 4 liters in a gallon and 1.6 km to a mile.

With my 1974 F100 Custom v8, I was getting between 5-8 mpg.

I should be getting around 30-35mpg in my civic, but I average out somewhere in the mid to high twenties. I guess my "enthusiastic" driving style is to blame.

Don't know for sure but I'd say I probably get around 25 if not more mpg with my Civic...
